The Windows-only Mio software is usually packaged with the A701 phone for a total of £364.99, so the software only represents great value, as it offers full Western European mapping. A male voice gave clear and plentiful directions, while the colourful screen had superb junction zooms and showed the prevailing speed limit - although it was wrong on two occasions! Traffic info wasn't included, either - a TMC add-on costs £55 - while there were only two favourites and some of the pictograms were disappointing.
