Audio visual is the name of the game for this JVC unit, which has Dolby digital sound, and plays CDs and DVDs - the latter via the colour display or remote monitors. All iPod info bar the album art is shown on screen, and it was easy to use. But it can't play podcasts or audio books, and the adaptor is pricey. Perhaps best for multi-input users.
