Navman N40i

Navman’s Navpix system (take a snap of a place and use it in route planning) is brilliant, and the N40i was easy to use. The 3.5-inch screen seemed small, but good colour and contrast gave great results in bright light. For a unit with European maps, it is well priced, too, but it failed the roundabout test. Trap alerts are direction-specific, communicated with a beep and a band on the screen.
