Sat-nav speed trap locator test

Road Angel 9000

Date: August 2007

  • Rating:

A hi-tech tour de force. Using on-board GPRS, it automatically receives trap updates, weather and traffic data, plus text messages. Trap performance was perfect, giving spoken and visual alerts with a limit and countdown. But the POIs leaned heavily towards national chains, the four-inch screen was cluttered, and the unit missed the redesigned junction. It’s still good, but pricey.
