Yuasa is no longer supplying batteries to Lucas, but this doesn’t seem to have been detrimental to their performance. With ratings of 370 cranking amps and 43 AH capacity, this should be on a par with Exide’s Excell (above). And it very nearly is. It didn’t score quite as well in the headlamp bulb discharge test, but actually seemed more enthusiastic in both cranking tests.
