Although it featured a slightly smaller scale than the basic Easy Read (above), the Big version was easier on the eye because its pages were twice the size of its stablemate’s. What’s more, it scored points with its 55 town plans – even though they didn’t have indices – and, as with its AA brothers, it depicted speed cameras correctly on our chosen section of the M25. It also showed the altered junction, while the price – at 6p per page – was up with the best.
