Appearances can be misleading. Although this offering from Draper doesn’t look especially substantial, in our assessments, it proved to be one of the most usable products. The jaws and lever worked nearly as smoothly as those of a full-size vice, and we encountered very little play. However, the fact that the base doesn’t swivel counts against it.
