Don’t get stranded if you leave the lights on and come out to a dead battery. A good charger like the £50 CTEK 3600 (below) will quickly revive most batteries from very low levels. If you don’t drive your car often, the CTEK can also be used as a trickle charger, keeping the cell topped up for long periods – essential over the coming months, as the cold saps battery power.
