Bad weather can mean bad traffic, so don’t get left short of fuel if you are stuck in a jam. With a can in the boot, you don’t have to worry about keeping the engine – and heater – running a little longer, and improve your chances of reaching a service station. Choose from plastic or metal versions and five or 10-litre models, all of which should cost less than £20.
