RECOMMENDED ‘Going green’ usually involves compromise, but not with this excellent wind-up torch. A minute’s spinning provides more than enough usable light. There are two LEDs – one giving a focused-distance beam which worked fine over our eight metres, plus a wider pattern that’s good for under the bonnet. Never get caught with dead
batteries in your torch again!
