Ring E:Can

Date: October 2007

  • Rating:

Although we struggled to squeeze every last bit of rated power out of this 150 Watt inverter, performance at lower current levels was excellent. As with the MP75 (above), the E:Can proved to be more efficient than many rivals, and current draw on standby was minimal, too. We liked the cylindrical shape of the unit, which is designed to fit a cup-holder, while the coiled lead can stretch to suit most lighter sockets. The integral USB socket is a real bonus for charging portable MP3 players.
