With a surge capacity of 400 Watts, you could use this inverter with some light-duty power tools, such as a car polisher. Yet while its efficiency and standby current are average, the Draper is closer to its rated output than many here. Its biggest drawback is the short power lead – at less than 40cm, it doesn’t allow a lot of positioning options.
