Phone charger test

Four AA batteries are needed for the Argos offering (adding around £3), which make the charger heavy. As there is no flying lead, the connection is direct and care had to be taken not to snap the adaptor – using the phone with it connected would be difficult. It charged fine on the MDA using the mini USB, but there wasn’t a connection for the iPod or Nokia. A bit impractical, and not well thought out.
