No, not only can you pick up your favourite polish and oil at the high street giant, but breakdown cover, too! Halfords’ competitive cover uses a network of around 4,000 recovery vehicles to reach its customers in an average 40 minutes. It won’t reveal how many members it actually has, but says it fixes around 65 per cent of vehicles at the roadside. Like most rivals, labour is only free for the first hour.
