The premiums at Green Flag are priced on a case-by-case basis, weighing up factors such as the car’s age, make and model, as well as the driver’s circumstances and details. The firm uses a network of specialists – totalling around 4,400 vehicles – to provide cover. If your motor takes more than an hour to repair, you’ll be charged for the extra labour, but it says this is unlikely. Average response time is 40 minutes, and 80 per cent of problems are resolved at the roadside.
