If Black & Decker’s drill was priced closer to the £20 mark, we would forgive its miserly standard kit. It didn’t come in a case and the charger took three hours to fully revive the single battery pack supplied. Sadly, the drill itself also seems a bit mean, as there’s only a single speed with five torque settings, and no hammer mode. That’s a shame really, because the flexible motor coped reasonably well in our tests.
