This device is compact, well designed and easy to use. Power is by batteries (not supplied) or the 12V lead, and it has a socket for a USB/dock cable to charge an iPod. But the only sound connection is via the headphone jack. There are an impressive 10 presets, but sound quality was affected by bit of background hiss.
