Despite the budget price, the ICE is an interesting proposition. One side houses the slider for four presets – sadly all were close to BBC Radio 2, which caused interference – while the jack input plus output for an iPod USB charge lead are on the other. Using both sockets meant plenty of wiring to sort out, and changing the memory was fiddly. Sound performance was acceptable, though.
