They don’t come much simpler than the Pico, which slotted straight into the iPod dock. The frequency was clearly shown on the player, even if there are only two memory choices. But it was sensitive to positioning in the car and prone to bouts of interference if the occupants moved about.

I bought this item, which worked OK except that it run the battery down in my ipod very quickly. There is no means of pugging a charger in whilst the Kensington FM transmitter is attached.
Hence cannot recommend it.
