This Halfords box is similar in style to Karrite’s offering. The five-year guarantee, single key central locking, wide-opening lid and 60kg max weight cover all the basics. But more desirable features, such as a lid that opens both sides and fast-fit clamps, are ditched to keep the price keen. And at £200, this huge box – the largest on test – is a real bargain.
