Parking aid test

Meta ActivePark 4

Date: March 2008

  • Rating:

Price: £99.99 (plus £6.95 p&p) Sensors/alert: Four/audible

Sensors on the Meta are smaller than on the version we tested in Issue 886, so the fit was less obtrusive. Can be set up for radio mute, tow bar or even reduced sensitivity for outer sensors. Anglo/Italian instructions were confusing, so the diagrams helped. It worked well on the car and bollard, and detected the hose at around a metre, but was erratic down to 20cm.
