The word ‘average’ sums up this set of jump leads from Clarke, which are rated for engines up to 3.5 litres. While the clamps are well sprung, with effectively shaped jaws, they’re a bit too bulky for our liking. And electrically, cable resistance is a little under par. Even the price is high compared to the other budget offerings.
