Although we loved this unit’s retro styling, and the fact it has a higher-quality finish than most of the other products here, the price is simply too high for what’s on offer. True, you get similar cranking performance to the top three, but the Black & Decker has short leads. What’s more, the Halfords’ Best Buy has a compressor and an inverter for only £5 more.
