Auto Express Car Reviews

Looks virtually identical to the Halfords, and features a similarly generous specification, too. That means you get a 300-watt power inverter, two fluorescent tubes and a very smooth-sounding air compressor built-in. Plus, the boost performance was excellent. What lets the Ring down is the price; it costs £35 more than its chain store twin, which is hard to justify.
As of December 2010 this rating looks dated. Suggest readers check Halfords for the Ring Professional, more powerful - and heavier - but around the price quoted for this one unless I am mistaken. -BP
