Low price of the Kingfisher looks good until you work out the cost per metre – a heavyweight £1.10. The self-assembly set’s instructions were infuriating, with a number of diagrams missing. It comes with two brackets that can be used to hang the reel from a wall. This helped when pulling out the hose, but rewinding was easier on the floor.
