Car history checks test

Price: £4.95 Subaru/BMW: No/no

Date: July 2008

If you’re in a hurry, this is super-quick. But it missed our written-off Subaru and didn’t recognise BMW’s reg number. Confusing screen and poor layout made Carwebit hard work to read, and we got lots of irrelevant info. There’s no guarantee, either; it states it ‘can’t be held liable’ for decisions based on its data – hardly inspiring confidence.

MYCARCHECK is a total rip off, crooks buck of thugs

I did a car check, i got all clear from them, bought the car which later on turned to be written off. I was tolled there surver was down on the day therfore all the information was not given to me.

I put up a claim, it was totally declined because i did not write the reciept on the downloaded form from there website, instead it was hand written on a white paper. Do not use them under any circumstances, you may as well rely on your luck, at least you will have saved £3.95 pounds, if nothing else.
