PCL Pencil Gauge

Tyre gauges test

Price: £5.99, Psi before drop: 34, Psi after drop: 35.5

PCL Pencil Gauge

Date: July 2008

  • Rating:

Pencil gauges seem to have been around forever, and many drivers like the no-frills way they check pressures. The PCL is conventional, with a 90-degree chuck and pocket clip. It read 1psi down before our drop test, and then was 0.5psi optimistic afterwards. Plus, it took us some time to get an
accurate figure off the twin scales.
