Polco Universal Rubber Car Mat Set

The utilitarian nature of Polco’s mat set was emphasised by the surprisingly strong rubbery odour emanating from them. As with the rears, the front pair were mirror images of each other and, while they weren’t specifically designed to be trimmed, doing so would be easy enough because the mats were pretty thin. For that same reason, they puckered up easily when we got in and out. They’re all right for an old Land Rover, but a bit feeble for family saloons.
