No adaptor was required for the Clarion, and only audiobook and podcast weren’t included in the easy-to-access categories. But the USB socket on the front left memory sticks vulnerable to damage, while large digits on the one-line dot matrix display meant lots of scrolling. Still, with four-channel line-out and a subwoofer, there’s scope to expand.
