Competitive price sets the scene here. Sound quality was impressive, while there are six preset equaliser settings and a logical, if busy, layout. The single-line display scrolls a choice of info, and the iPod tracks shifted fast. Categories were easy to access and operate, but while the USB slot worked well with a stick or iPod, it’s vulnerable on the front.
