RECOMMENDED

Better than the cheaper Oregons. As it’s heavier, the 5K didn’t wobble quite so much, and better still, it has a 1.5-inch colour screen and a wireless remote, plus can be used as a webcam. Twin AA batteries are supplied, but you’d need to up the memory over the 32MB SD card. There’s a choice of resolutions, and recordings were good quality, with the anti-shake system working well on bumpy roads.
