Next step down the Oregon ladder, the 3K shares many of the 5K’s controls and functions. Again, the two AA batteries are supplied, and
a software CD allows the unit to be set up as a webcam. In addition to the standard mounts and straps, it has a small, flexi-legged tripod. And users get a choice of VGA and lower-resolution QVGA recording. Picture quality was good, without being exceptional.
