You’d think the 12 high-intensity LEDs would produce incredibly bright light, but the Franklin’s straight-ahead illumination was average. Oddly, peripheral light was below par, too. And that’s a shame really, because this is a promising design. By using three AAA batteries, the firm keeps the weight down to an acceptable 126g, while
illumination time is respectable, too.
