New to Tamiya’s expanding range is the TT-01 Type E chassis, which uses uprated components for better structural rigidity and handling. It also has LED lights front and rear that can be set up to show brake and turn lights, just like a full-size car. For budding engineers who fancy a challenge, it is available in kit form – or it can be bought ready to go if you prefer to race straight out of the wrapping paper. There are numerous bodies, including the VW Golf, Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911 GT3.
