RECOMMENDED One of the most comfortable units to use, the Philips started and finished well in all our tests, and performed best on the sugar. Battery life was among the longest and we liked the extra hand-held brush, which could be used to loosen dirt first. It also had a raft of attachments, and was narrowly pipped to the post by the cheaper Black & Decker (opposite).
