While this delivered an incredibly bright output, it couldn’t match other lamps for peripheral illumination. The RIL3000 is aimed at professional use, and features a sturdy, rubber-coated body. We like the fact you get six hours of light from five hours’ charging time – or even more if you select the dimmer output mode. What really lets the Ring down, though, is the pathetic, almost unusable, hanging hook.
