In a way, this could be considered a hybrid lamp, because if you unclip the heavy-duty clamp – which also sports a couple of magnets – it can be used as a torch. Its intensity was as good as we’ve come to expect from Ring, and peripheral lighting impressed as well. Other pleasing touches include a charging pod and a reasonable five-hour charge time.
