LED workshop lamps test

Price: £89.39, Light duration: Four hrs, 45 mins

Laser 4168

Date: December 2008

Premium price means this lamp has to be really good. And in many ways, it is. Light output was incredibly intense, and the Laser was one of the many units on test to have a longer light duration than its charge time. Only when you come to use this for real do you appreciate its greatest strength: positioning. The battery pack has a tough magnet in its end, and the whole section can be hinged up to 90 degrees from the rest of the lamp. The LED ‘tube’ rotates for added versatility, too.
