RECOMMENDED Physically indistinguishable from the 765T, the nüvi 256W costs £90 less, but still had lots of goodies. While it didn’t have the lane assistant or 3D views, the mapping, routing and functions were as good as on any Garmin, and the POI database was superb. TMC did its job, yet the antenna was messy and couldn’t be used without the 12v connection.
