Recommended Noodles appear to be the way to go for microfibre cloths – our top two mitts feature the thick strand designs. And they really do seem to have the edge when lifting dirt from paintwork, whether it’s wet or dry. The Muc-Off was another mitt with a huge thirst – it absorbed more than 500g of water – plus it has a waffle for removing bugs and is machine-washable.
