Very short pile means this mitt can be used for buffing, too, but it struggles to match other microfibre offerings. Halfords’ version doesn’t have the quality feel of our top two, there’s no bug panel and we would have liked a tighter cuff. Still, it certainly works, and was more effective than sheepskin rivals on the dry panel.
