Black & Decker Power Up

Inverters tested

Price: £34.29, max continual output: 100 Watts

Black & Decker Power Up

Date: March 2009

  • Rating:

Appears to be the Black & Decker take on the MP:75 and Polco 381.01. As with the Polco, it provides a USB socket, is impressively efficient and has a stable output. Unlike the other two compact devices, there is a 12V lead. And, thanks to a clever plug arrangement, the unit can also be used in aeroplane power sockets.
