FM transmitters test

Price: £69.99

Gear4 CarDock FM

Date: April 2009

  • Rating:

One of the problems with FM transmitters is the need to switch frequencies if there’s a clash. The CarDock not only finds a clearer wavelength, but retunes your car’s RDS radio, too – albeit only to frequencies it finds, as you can’t select one yourself. Sound was decent, and it could take headphone jack input, but with some loss of quality. It charges the iPod, and the display is compact, yet clear.
