Convenience is at the heart of the Flik design. A twist of the wrist releases the pliers from the handles, and they lock into place. Both knives, plus the saw and scissors, can be released one-handed, too. Useful, but the necessary raised edges can dig into the skin. Fiskars scissors were among the best here, but the blades were a letdown.
