A lower price gives the Clarke the edge over this Halfords.

But the latter has loads of room, while handy divisions in the long trays help keep tools separate.

Fitting all our test tools in the box was easy, although the rolled edges of the trays fouled on some kit.

It’s tough and spacious, and will last for years.
