Nearly twice the price of the chain store’s transparent offering, but this really is a case of getting what you pay for.

The liner easily covered our Skoda’s boot and gave good protection in the drop test.

The material also provided much more grip than was the case with its smaller stablemate, which was prone to letting the load slide about too much. This is our pick of the universal rubber mats.
