Use this and you soon see the advantage of a long pole. The veteran Hozelock Jet Brush scores with its switchable car wash dispenser, flow control and half-decent rinse spray. But it’s nowhere near as simple to use as its extendable rivals. The weight of the hose restricts movement, and as it’s so close to the brush, it’s easy to drag this – and any grit on it – across bodywork.
