Check out this daring duo! Remote control firm Tamiya has added two new cars to its line-up – the Mini Cooper Racing and the Mitsubishi Evo X!
There’s a brand new chassis for the latest British baby, and improved weight distribution, which gives a perfect centre of gravity.
It also gets a fresh servo, receiver and Electronic Speed Controller positions.
The power pack and motor are located below the axle line, and Tamiya claims it’s the best handling model ever in its
M Series, thanks to precise steering. If you’re not a fan of the two-wheel-drive Mini, then try Tamiya’s four-wheel-drive Mitsubishi Evo X shell for the TT-01 Type-E framework.
It has a top speed of 28mph, although you can buy extra parts to boost this to a nippy 40mph!
The polycarbonate shell is incredibly detailed, and captures the aggressive lines of the Evo perfectly.
For extra realism, LEDs are included to depict head and tail-lights. Both cars are 1/10 scale.
