On paper, this is the charger most likely to steal CTEK’s crown.

The maximum current output is slightly higher than that of the XS3600, while the leads are a good length and a hard wire kit is included – and all for nearly £12 less than our Best Buy.

So why didn’t the Ring win? Well, regardless of the slightly higher output, its charging times simply weren’t as fast.

Plus, we weren’t especially keen on the rather basic conditioning cycle, either.
