  • Rating:

If the speed of charging is at the top of your agenda, look no further.

The Gunson provided us with the best powering up times here, which is no surprise considering it has inverter electronics and a huge maximum output. But it can be gentle, too. The pulsed conditioning cycle means the unit can be left on a battery permanently, and the output can be capped to 2 Amps for smaller cells.

The biggest drawbacks are the non-weather-resistant construction, and the lack of a hard wire kit.
